Antique Silverplate Serving/Muffin Dish c. 1900 | Barker Brothers

The antique English silver plate muffin dish has a domed engraved lid typical of Barker-Ellis ( the successor to Barker Brothers ).  It has an acanthus finial, a gadroon border on the base and a removable liner, so the base has a hot water compartment. PLEASE NOTE THE PHOTO DOESN'T SHOW PROPERLY THE 1 1/2" DEPTH TO THE BASE.
