Antique English Very Large Fern Pot - c. 1875 | Boardman & Glossop

The antique English silverplate fern pot is extremely large.  It is hand chased with scroll work.  It has a crimped edge and stands on a low pedestal base.  These were made for the fern plants to be planted directly into the bowl.
