Pr. of Antique English Old Sheffield Coasters - circa 1810, Crested, Pierced

This is a lovely pair of Old Sheffield English coasters - circa 1810.  Old Sheffield is a fusion of copper and silver made between 1740 and 1840.  The coasters have mahogany bases ( they can have felt put on the bottoms, if desired, before shipping}.  The sides of the coasters have hand piercing and are surmounted by applied sterling silver borders.  The center of the coasters have Old Sheffield buttons with their original crests.
