The very rare, unusual, collectible "drum" biscuit box - circa 1880 is a rare, authentic, antique box, not a reproduction.  This original antique box is drum shaped with applied rope sides.  The hinged lid has a finial comprise of  drum sticks an a horn ( the finial has a minute, old repair )
