Antique English silver plated oval basket on a pedestal base.  The basket has an applied  border and has a hand swan stylized fluted piercing. The border has an applied gadroon and anthemon leaf decoration. The swing handle has a pierced and cutout design. The basket stands on a simple, oval pedestal base with an applied thread border
