Antique English Tankard Silverplate c.1865 – Walker & Hall

The English silver plated tankard is round, tapered, with a slightly splayed bottom and stands on a convex rim foot.  The tankard has a scroll handle a simple spout and a hinged domed lid with a square baluster form finial  The body is hand engraved with scrolls, swags and a leaf design center shield.  The top and bottom have bands of scrolling leaves
