Antique Silver Old Sheffield Basket - c. 1810

The lovely English Old Sheffield oblong basket has a deep body with an applied French gadroon borderand large shell ends. The basket has a gadroon bottom and stands on 4 ball feet. The swing handle terminates with applied leaves and grapes. There is a simple thread bordered swing handle. The basket has its original tinned bottom. The basket also has its original plate.
