5 Pc. Antique English Silver Plated Tea & Coffee Set w/Kettle - circa 1845

The early English silver plated tea and coffee service with the matching kettle, stand and lamp was made by the early plate maker Roberts and Hall.  Roberts and Hall was amalgamated into Roberts and Taylor in 1852.  The round, hand chased leaf and scroll pieces stand on a cast scroll footed base, have scroll handles that have ivory insulators and scroll handles.  The kettle with its' original pins for "tipping" stands on a base with cast shell feet.  All hinged lidded pieces have melon finials.

Sugar - Diameter  - 5 1/8",  Height  - 5 1/4", Length handle to spout - 8 3/8"

Cream - Diameter  - 3 1/4",  Height  - 5 7/8", Length handle to spout - 4 1/4
