The unusual, round antique English silver plated biscuit box has an indentation on the lid to hold a flat bottom decanter. The body has 2 cast holders for liqueur glasses ( neither supplied ). The round body stands on a bar pierced apron with an applied acanthus leaf and dart border on 3 cast claw and ball feet. The hinged vertical and concave lid is hand engraved. The body in hand engraved with palmette band and floral decoration.
