Very Fine English Silver Plated Beer Jug | Hand Chased | Martin Hall

The heavily chased antique English silver plated beer jug has 4 bands of 3 dimensional chasing of scrollwork.  The flat hinged lid has matching bands of chasing and has a double scroll cast thumbpiece.  The jug has a simple spout and a bold, simple double scroll handle - circa 1865, maker - Martin Hall
